Have I mentioned that I like this movie? Did I ever tell you that this is actually one of the best music documentaries I’ve ever seen? Ok, as we get to know each other that will mean more to you over time –I’m going to recommend a lot of music documentaries. Does it matter that it came out last year, which in Internet time is 6 million years? No it doesn’t.
I mean I could tell you who this was filmed by, as if you know them. But I will tell you this –it’s so nice in this age of laptop music to watch these guys, Soulwax, put out a banger of a record, Nite Versions, and then play it live to thousands of throbbing dance heads. Mmmm – this is how it should feel. Sweaty, loud, brilliant. Now watch them do that every night over a year – this will get you pumped to go out and make a band –an electronic music band.
