+verb :: Lasers n Bass n Bounce

I’ve been pondering this qseution a little more. I ran across this in my devotions: καὶ ἰδοὺ προσέφερον αὐτῷ παραλυτικὸν ἐπὶ κλίνης βεβλημένον. (Matthew 9:2 GNT-T)Though the base meaning of βάλλω is throw , somehow, I can’t see them slamming the paralytic down onto the couch (κλίνη). And even if there is an ἐκ added to the front, I still don’t see enough proof that would force (no pun intended) a more intensive feel to the verb. My conclusion is that the solution is not found in the verb itself, but in the context around it.Sorry for resurrecting this thread. But I was thinking about it and thought I’d comment.
