How do we say it in the blog biz…? Oh, yeah – “I’m totally feeling this!” “This” being a new EP release from some chap named Jesse Munro aka Gulls from good old Portland OR. Gulls is new self-titled EP, co-released by BOOMARM NATION (limited pressing of 300) and digitally by COMMUNITY LIBRARY. It will be available September 2010 here.
Here’s my review of the title track “Mean Sound:” Oh yeah. Ahh yes. Here it comes. Good! Was pleasantly surprised when I listend to this gem. Great use of organic hand claps and guitar echos across a groove laden and beat centric landscape. Pure positive motion indeed. Well, check it for yourself. The Strategy Remix will also cook your toast!
