$99 Music Video is a newly launched media site designed by one of the creators of the original MTV to give emerging bands a decent quality music video, shot and produced, within a few days time all for the low, low budget of… you guessed it – $99.
An advantage to this site is the added exposure through distribution and sponsorship provided by the sites main advertiser, Verizon. This is a current trend, but now will be more saturated, which is; Brands and Telecommunications companies acting as entertainment/media distributors and hubs. Free content with the cost offset by sponsored advertising.
What’s great is that $99 Music Video plan to release only one new video a week, thereby giving that music group maximum front page exposure on the site. As well as the video, a documentary on the making of the video is provided. So two experiences for the price of one.
Check it out – would your band/brand want to use this?
